Second Green Flag Awarded
On Friday 24th June we were awarded our second Green Flag from Eco-Schools. Throughout the year the Eco Committee met with Miss McGibbon to prepare for the assessment. The children were responsible for talking to the whole school during assemblies, informing their classes of our main topics and maintaining the eco garden. Our Eco Committee care deeply about environmental issues and wish to make a positive change in the environment around them. The Eco-Schools programme provides an ideal way for fostering environmental awareness in the entire school in a way that links to many curriculum subjects. We are very proud of our new achievement.
