Year 5 explores directions and angles using Bee-Bot
Year 5 did an Ice Balloon Experiment in World Around Us
Year 5 enjoyed a visit from the Waterbus. They learned lots of interesting facts about the water cycle and how water is treated before it reaches our homes.
Izak 9 lesson with Hart Memorial P.S. Year 5 have welcomed their peers from Hart Memorial P.S. for a problem solving lesson on the last three Fridays in April.
Year 5 had a wear red non-uniform day to raise money for The Heart Foundation.
Year 5 enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book characters for World Book Day.
On Friday 26th Feburary the year 5's participated in a Danceathon to support NSPCC.
On Thursday 25th February, Alsya from HSBC delivered a very interesting workshop called ‘Our City’ to Year 5. During the workshop the pupils had opportunities to identify the key features of a city. They also had the opportunity to design a city and place key industries appropriately on the map of the city.
Year 5 explore how technology has changed in World Around Us.
Year 5 are participating in The Healthy Kids Programme.
In Literacy year 5 are learning about a range of Genres including: Historical, Science Fiction, Classical Fiction, Horror, Romantic and Adventure/Mystery
Year 5 learned how to make Tangrams. A Chinese picture puzzle using 7 shapes.
