Year 6

Year 6 experienced Shared Education by participating in three sports; Gaelic, Football and Rugby. Everyone enjoyed the action packed three days!
Year 6 had a fantastic day at the Moy Park and Young Enterprise Challenge. The day involved working together with children from other, local, Primary Schools to learn about healthy living, Moy Park and Young Enterprise. The children enjoyed creating a 'Healthy High' Mascot and devising a buisness plan for a new product.
Mad Maths Day in Year 6. We loved participating in a circuit of mathematical activities. We explored capacity, time, fractions, money, symmetry and tesselating. We enjoyed a variety of maths games and bingo with Year 3.
World Book Day 2019. Year 6 have been celebrating books by creating bookmarks, participating in a table quiz and sharing a story with a Year 3 child. Look at our fabulous costumes.

We have been learning about Keeping Healthy and our bodies. Today we had fun learning about our digestive system with Miss Nicholson.

Christmas Dinner
We really enjoyed our Christmas dinner in the canteen today. It was delicious!

We had a wonderful workshop with author Wes Magee. Together we created a poem called: In Ballyoran School...Monday.

European Day of Languages
We enjoyed learning different languages from our peers. We learned phrases in Polish, Portuguese, Lithuanian and Romanian.
