We had a fantastic day celebrating Ballyoran Primary School's 50th Birthday. We had a PE session with Fitness Freddie followed by a balloon modelling session. We had ice cream for our morning snack and learned how to play African drums. We loved playing with our friends in the soft play fun bus.

We have been exploring The Gruffalo story. We were so surprised when Mouse from the story sent our class a letter inviting us to his Gruffalo party. We decided to write replies to he letter telling him that we would be able to go to the party. We had so much fun making Gruffalo crumble which we enjoyed eating with owl ice-cream.

We had so much fun celebrating World Book Day 2024! Our class won the reading competition by reading over 300 books. We enjoyed a whole school celebration assembly and a playground parade with Nursery. Year 5 also visited our class to share a story with each pupil.

Our Year 2 pupils enjoyed visiting the Navan Centre today for their Christmas trip. We had so much fun watching a Christmas play, visiting Santa, making Christmas wreaths and eating treats with an elf.
