Calligrams and Shape Poems

We have been learning that calligrams are words written in a way that expresses its meaning and that some words can be used to make pictures which represent their meaning.

We  used some templates of ice-cream cones, rainbows, umbrellas, apples, lollipops, bells, buterflies, clouds and flowers to write our own shape poems. We really enjoyed this!
