Nursery 1

Pancake Tuesday in the Nursery!

Today we had a non-uniform 'WEAR RED' day in Nursery as we wanted to show our support to the British Heart Foundation. We also had a great morning with Jo Jingles who visited us this morning. We got to decorate lovely heart-shaped biscuits to celebrate Valentine's Day!

Mackey Eyecare visited us this morning in the Nursery. We got to try on glasses and were told all about the importance of going to the opticians to get our eyes tested!

We enjoyed going for a bird walk around the school. We made lovely hot chocolate and biscuits afterwards.

The Eco-Committee organised a ‘Ditch the Dark Day’ in school. This was a day in which all pupils and teachers accessorised their clothing in a bright and creative way and were encouraged to walk, scoot or cycle to school. Some children decorated their bikes and scooters. It was a great day and we had lots of fun!

Today we celebrated Children in Need Day. There was a Bun Sale in school to raise money and also we made Pudsey biscuits.

Our topic is Space this month so we decided to make Hand Print Aliens during Art! We had lots of fun making them!

Today we made chocolate apples for Halloween!

We had a lovely morning on our sponsored welly boot walk. We enjoyed hot chocolate and treats when we returned to Nursery. We raised lots of money to buy new balance bikes!

We made apple prints using red and green.

Today we are supporting Action Mental Health. Children came in to school wearing a splash of YELLOW! We raised lots of money!
