Term 1

We enjoyed having our Christmas dinner together in school. It was delicious! We wore our crowns that we had made in class.

Our younger pupils had fun looking through toy catalogues and choosing things they might like for Christmas. They cut items out and stuck them onto their letters to Santa. 🎅🏼

Some of our class went so see the pantomime, Aladdin, at Armagh Theatre. It was a fantastic show and we really enjoyed it.

We have been busy making different crafts for Christmas. Here are just a few of them. 🎄

We took part in the Daily Mile Sant Run wearing our Santa hats. We had a great time! 🎅

Some of our younger pupils visited the Navan Centre for a Christmas trip. They had a disco with an elf, met Santa and made a craft. It was such a fun morning enjoyed by all. 🎅🎄

Today we visited the Bun Sale which was held to raise funds for Children In Need.

Today the dentist came to check our teeth. We got to wear dark glasses!

On Wednesday Julie from the Dogs Trust came to talk to us about how to stay safe around dogs.

We have been making some lovely autumn crafts. We made pumpkin wreaths and night owls.

We have been celebrating European Day of Languages. We learned how to say hello in different languages, a little about some European countries and we coloured in flags from some of our home countries.

Barney, the school mascot, has joined our class for a while. We brought him to the trim trail where we showed off our balance and agility skills. He also joined us for the Golden Mile. We hope Barney enjoys his time in LSC.

We made our own playdough using flour, salt and water. We poured in the ingredients, mixed them together with a spoon and kneaded them into dough. We had lots of fun and enjoyed rolling and cutting the playdough into different shapes.

We have been learning to count out sets up to 5 in Numeracy.
