Ballyoran Primary School has a Parents and Friends Association. This is an association of parents, relatives, staff and friends of the school who work together for the benefit of all the children attending the school.
Each year at the Annual General Meeting, office bearers are elected.
The Parents and Friends organise a range of events/projects during the year which are supported by other parents and friends of the school. These have included:
Any money that is raised by the Parents and Friends Association is spent on the education of the pupils. For example last year new Nursery outdoor play resources and a play house for Years 1 and 2 were purchased.
We encourage all parents and friends of the school to support the Parents and Friends as a vibrant and enjoyable aspect of school life. It is open to everyone and new members are always welcome. Watch out for the next meeting.
