Term 2a

Year 3 boys and girls spent 3 days making INCREDIBLE dinosaur sunset paintings. We started by discussing the warm colours we were using to paint our sunsets. We had to use paintbrushes with different thicknesses as well as pencils to create our hills. Finally, the boys and girls chose 3 kinds of dinosaurs to be on their amazing pictures. We have already had so many compliments on how beautiful they look outside our classroom. Have a look below at the masterpieces!

Year 3 have been doing lots of work on traditional tales. This week we focused on the story of Little Red Riding Hood and we worked in groups to perform a drama activity based on the story.

We had our first activity based learning lesson on our new topic ‘Daring Dinosaurs’. There were lots of different stations to find out new facts all about dinosaurs!
