Young Enterprise - Our Nation
We had a hands-on, exciting morning thinking about the journey of food from field to shop. We had a representative from Young Enterprise and an employee of Kelloggs. He told us how corn originates in Argentina and the journey it goes through before it reaches our cereal bowls. We talked about the different skills we needed for various jobs.
One of our activities was to work in groups to produce a new drink. We had to work as a team to decide the product name, a catchy slogan, the target audience etc. We had to produce a poster to advertise our product and then a spokesperson for our group had to pitch the product to the rest of the class.
