School Achieves Eco Schools Green Flag Award
On Thursday 30th May 2013 we had our assessment for our ‘Green Flag Award’. The Eco Club have been working hard for 2 years to achieve this award, carrying out various projects inschool. We are pleased to say we were awarded the ‘Green Flag’ which will now be displayed in our school grounds to recognise that we are an ‘Eco School.’ The assessors commented on the enthusiasm and hard work the children demonstrated when giving them a tour of our school grounds. They were very impressed with all of the projects this year and also with how well the school grounds are kept. This is a great achievement for the Eco Club and the school. Well done!
