School Celebrates World Book Day

World Book Day is a day set aside every year to celebrate reading, books, authors and illustrators. It is marked in more than 100 countries around the world. This year it took place on Thursday 7th March 2013 and pupils were asked to come to school dressed as their favourite Book Character. Storyteller Steve Lally was in school and all pupils received a £1 Book Token which can be redeemed at Tesco or Easons. We thank all our pupils who entered into the spirit of this day as we celebrated books and reading.
