Friday 22nd September | This week we have been doing lots of Autumn and Halloween art activities. We also gutted out our class pumpkin- the inside of the pumpkin felt funny and smelt funny too!
Monday 18th October | We started our week by having our first visit from Mary from Relax Kids. We followed the rainbow today- we had to move, then play then stretch then feel then breathe then believe and finallly relax. Have a look at the super fun activites we did below. This was the perfect start to brighten up a dull Autumn Monday. We cannot wait to have Mary back.
Monday 11th October | We had another busy Monday in Year 1 today. We started by learning all about number 3. We then learnt about letter t and the sound it makes and finally we went to the assembly hall and played games to help us learn about the concept of first and last.
Thursday 7th October | This morning in outdoor play we were building bridges and practicing our balance. Some of us were finding worms and making mud pies in the digging area.
Monday 4th October | What a busy start to the week we had! We began the day by having super fun in our new castle. Our new topic is all about castles so during playtime we were dressing up as kings and queens in our new castle, playing with the small world castle and building castles in the construction area. We then learnt all about number 2 and practiced drawing number 2 in lots of different ways. Finally, we learnt all about our first sound- s!
