Poetry

Last week in Literacy the Year 5 children have been looking at a range of Poems with various themes. The children focused on the themes of Winter, School and Family.  The class really enjoyed performing the poems in small groups for the class. They had to do a poetry reading and a dramatisation of "Teacher ate my homework" and "Teacher took my iPod".  This week we are working on planning and writing our own Winter poems. I am looking forward to reading the finished Product.
