Getting into the Christmas spirit πŸŽ„ We had great fun painting our canteen windows!

We really enjoyed our Christmas dinner with all the trimmings! It was delicious.

We took part in the Daily Mile - Santa Run πŸŽ…πŸ½

We supported BBC Children in Need 2022 by coming to school with crazy hair and wearing something spotty. We also hosted a bun sale at break time. From our bun sale, we raised an impressive £388.00 for this very worthwhile charity 🧁🍰

Have a look at our wonderful Viking creations. We were given the task of making either a Viking Longship or a Viking Longhouse. Some of us enjoyed the task so much that we actually made both!

Year 6 enjoying the Book Fair πŸ“š

We have been very busy delivering Samaritan’s Purse Shoeboxes to all of the boys and girls in school. This is in preparation for our Christmas Shoebox Appeal.

Our class novel is The Cuckoo Child by Dick-King Smith. In the story, Jack steals an ostrich egg to try to hatch it at his farm. We were delighted to see and handle a real ostrich egg today. They are gigantic! The largest egg of any bird πŸ₯š

Some Place Value revision in Year 6 🎲
