Friday 27th January | Can I proudly introduce for the second time, the Mathletics champions! We were so excited in assembly when we found out we were the mathletics champions for the month of December. We are now the winning class for the second month in a row. The pressure is well and truly on to keep our title of mathletics champions for the month of January. Year 4 want to catch us but we know we will keep our title. Well done Year 3! You are working SO hard!

Wednesday 18th January | We have been working on respresenting two digit numbers as tens and units this week. Today we had a carousel activity practising lots of different ways to represent our two digit numbers as tens and units.

Friday 13th January | Our Spectacular Senses investigations continue... today we were learning about our sense of taste and the four basic tastes. We had a very exciting food test in class where we tasted some sweet foods, some salty, some sour and some bitter. It was lots of fun watching our friends reacting to the tastes in their mouths.

Friday 6th January | In Year 3 we had a brilliant two days back to school. For our Spectacular Senses topic we were learning about sight. We carried out a sight experiment with a partner and we learnt the names of the different parts of our eyes.
