Year 7

PSNI Visit Year 7 in Ballyoran Primary School

Year 7s have been learning all about circles:

What is the radius?

Measure the diameter.

Work out the circumference.

What is an arc?

Is the line passing through the centre point?

Remember a sector is like a slice of pizza.

They have also enjoyed drawing their own circle designs using a pair of compasses.

The Year 7's enjoyed dressing up for World Book Day.

Year 7s have been learning how to work out Distance, Time and Speed as part of their Measures Topic.

They have been using the formulae:

D=SxT

S=D/T

T=D/S    What a great workout for the brain!
