We had so much fun with our friends at our end of year party!
We had a fantastic day celebrating Ballyoran Primary School's 50th Birthday. We had a PE session with Fitness Freddie followed by a balloon modelling session. We had ice cream for our morning snack and learned how to play African drums. We loved playing with our friends in the soft play fun bus.
We went on a journey to space and explored the solar system. We had so much fun learning about each planet.
Sports Day 2024!
We had so much fun at our Sponsored Fun Run today. Well done to everyone for taking part.
Can you guess who is hiding behind the Gruffalo mask?
We have been exploring The Gruffalo story. We were so surprised when Mouse from the story sent our class a letter inviting us to his Gruffalo party. We decided to write replies to he letter telling him that we would be able to go to the party. We had so much fun making Gruffalo crumble which we enjoyed eating with owl ice-cream.
Julia Donaldson is the author of The Gruffalo. We enjoyed reading lots of Julia Donaldson books with our reading partner.
We had so much fun on our Easter egg hunt.
We had so much fun today celebrating Funky Hair Friday and raising money for The Little Princess Trust.
We were the Golden Table in the dinner hall. We enjoyed drinking orange juice with our dinner.
We had so much fun planting trees as part of our Forest Schools project. We can't wait to watch them grow.

We enjoyed creating our World Book Day 2024 green screen posters.
We had so much fun celebrating World Book Day 2024! Our class won the reading competition by reading over 300 books. We enjoyed a whole school celebration assembly and a playground parade with Nursery. Year 5 also visited our class to share a story with each pupil.

We loved singing with Santa when he visited our class!
Year 2/3 had a surprise visit from Santa. We also enjoyed dancing with our friends at the Christmas disco.
We made beautiful Christmas crowns to wear today while eating our Christmas lunch.
We really enjoyed designed our own Christmas cards using the app Just2Easy.
We had so much fun on our walk to the post box today. We designed Christmas cards using the Just2Easy app and posted them to our families. We also visited the bakery and bought some buns as a treat for our morning snack.
We enjoyed taking part in a Santa Run. We had so much fun as we sang songs and walked round our playground.
Our Year 2 pupils enjoyed visiting the Navan Centre today for their Christmas trip. We had so much fun watching a Christmas play, visiting Santa, making Christmas wreaths and eating treats with an elf.
Well done to our Year 2/3 pupils who were awarded a Mathletics Certificate. A big well done to Caelan who is first pupil in our class to be awarded a Silver Certificate.
We had so much fun celebrating Children in Need. We made Pudsey Bear crowns and enjoyed visiting the bun sale.
We designed posters for the Children in Need bun sale using the Just2Easy app and stuck them up around the school.
Well done to Year 2/3 who won the Golden table!
We enjoyed following a set of instructions today to help us make yummy chocolate apples.
We had so much fun carving pumpkins and making paper pumpkins during Art.
We have been making 3D shapes in Numeracy.
We are learning to add in Numeracy by playing fun games.
Year 2 have been having fun during indoor play.
We can sort books into fiction and non-fiction.
We enjoy playing word games in groups with our friends.
We enjoyed being shape dectectives and looking for 2d shapes hidden around the school.
