We had so much fun in school today dancing with our friends at the Christmas disco. We were so surprised when Santa came to visit and sing songs with us. After we enjoyed playing pass the parcel with our friends during our class party.

We have been reading the Jolly Christmas Postman in Literacy and learning all about the journey of a letter. We enjoyed created our own Christmas cards using Just2Easy. We had so much fun walking to the post box with our friends to post our Christmas cards home to our families. We even visited the bakery and bought some yummy buns to eat for snack.

Year 1 and Year 2 pupils had so much fun performing our Christmas show Christmas with the Aliens.

We have had a very exciting week in school. We enjoyed watching a magician perform tricks at our Christmas Magic Show. We also had so much fun taking part in the Daily Mile Santa Run and eating our Christmas dinner with our friends.

We has so much fun celebrating Children in Need today. We made spotty Pudsey Bear crowns to wear to our bun sale and enjoyed eating our buns with our friends.

We talked about firework safety in assembly today and now know how to stay safe over Halloween. After assembly we had so much fun using chalk to create beautiful firework pictures. We finished the day by drinking some yummy hot chocolate and eating some Halloween treats.

We had so much fun making our chocolate apples today. Happy Halloween from Year 2!

We had so much fun carving a pumpkin today. We read a story called Pippa the Pumpkin Fairy and tried to copy one of the designs from the book. We think our pumpkin looks very spooky.

Our new topic is Emergency Services. We really enjoyed our visit from the police today. They talked about all the ways they try to keep us safe. They reminded us about how we can stay safe at Halloween when using sparklers. We were so good at listening that they let us sit inside their police car.
