Prize Day
Tue 30 Jun 2009Friday 19th June saw a very successful Prize Day. Miss Calvert, former principal of Ballyoran, was our Special Guest. There were many new Awards this year and every child received an award. See full list of Award Winners under News Sheets.

Run for Charity
Wed 24 Jun 2009On Monday 4th May 2009, Mr Hendron and his team ran the Relay of the Belfast Marathon and pupils raised money to sponsor this. The amount raised for Macmillan Cancer was £1,260. A big thank you to Mr Hendron and his team for running, all our pupils for collecting and parents and friends for your generosity in sponsoring this event.

Ballyoran Irish Dancing Festival
Wed 24 Jun 2009Well done to all pupils who took part in our annual dancing festival. Everyone danced well and the adjudicator Mrs Rosemarie Breen was very impressed. The main awards were as follows:
Molly McVeigh Award for Single Jig to Eve Heaney
Calvert Award for Light Double Jig to Lara White
A Cup for the Reel to Eve Heaney and Lara white
TheMcGinnell Award for Most Promising Dancer to Lorna Hughes
Heaney Award for Overall Highest Points to Eve Heaney
Congratulations to all and especially to Mrs Heaney their teacher.

Mrs Breen Leaves
Fri 05 Jun 2009Ballyoran Primary School says farewell ro Mrs Breen and thanks her for all her work over 6 years as a classroom assistant and lunchtime supervisor. We Wish her well and congratulate her on her new baby.
