Farewell to Mrs O'Hanlon
Thu 30 Jun 2011Ballyoran Primary School says farwell to Mrs O'Hanlon who is retiring at the end of August after 25 years' service to the school. Pupils had the opportunity to say goodbye to Mrs O'Hanlon at a special Farewell Assembly on Friday 24th June 2011. We thank her for her contribution to the school over 25 years and wish her a long and happy retirement.

Nursery Graduation
Thu 23 Jun 2011Our Annual Nursery Graduation took place on Thursday 23rd June 2011 in the school Assembly Hall. Thirty-three Nursery pupils graduated to Year One and received Graduation Medals and Certificates to mark the occasion. We wish all our Nursery graduates well for the future as they move into Primary School.

Prize Day
Fri 17 Jun 2011The school's annual Prize Day took place on Friday 17th June 2011. As usual there were two ceremonies. Reverend Fr. O'Dwyer was the special guest for Foundation/Key Stage One and and Mrs Nicholl (Road Safety Officer) was the special guest for Key Stage Two.

Sports Day
Tue 14 Jun 2011Sports Day was a roaring success on Tuesday 14th June 2011 with eager participants from Nursery to Year 7. Many parents came to spectate, some of whom were brave competitors in the hopper race and the "Welly boot" throw!

Credit Union Poster Competition
Thu 02 Jun 2011Ballyoran Primary School pupils were presented with prizes for posters they designed for the annual Credit Union Poster Competition. They received their prizes at a special Prize winners evening in Portadown Town Hall on 2nd June 2011. Ryan Pinto received first prize in the under 7 section. -
Shannaghmore 2011
