All our pupils got the chance to join in our celebrations on Friday 20^th June 2014 when we had a very enjoyable Fun Day/Birthday Party.  Pupils enjoyed Bouncy Castle, Assault Course and Slide, a Puppet Show, various sports including Gaelic Football, Soccer, Tennis, Rugby and Hurling, an ice cream from an Ice Cream Van, a Puppet Show, Birthday Cake, Chip Shop Lunch and special Anniversary Gifts of a cap and pencil.

Friday 13th June 2014 was our annual Prize Day.  Miss Calvert, former Principal was the Special Guest at the Foundation Key Stage 1 Ceremony.  Mr Gilpin, former Principal was the Special Guest at the Key Stage 2 Ceremony.  Every pupil in the school received an award.  Well done to all our prize winner, who we are so proud of.

Wednesday 11th June 2014 saw a very successful 40th Anniversary Concert with performances from the School Choir, Recorder Group, Year 4 Strings Group and Year 4 - 7 Drama Group.  There were also guest appearances from the South Ulster Community Band and 'No Strings Attached.'  The compere for the evening was Mr Bob Crooks, former BBC Northern Ireland presenter.

Thank you to all our parents and friends who supported Sports Day this year.  Thankfully the weather was kind and all our pupils had a great day.  Well done to all our medal winners.  Thank you to Eurospar for sponsoring Sports Day.

Congratulations to 5 of our LSC pupils who were successful in the Credit Union Poster Competition.  They all received prizes at a Special Presentation in the Town Hall on Tuesday 13^th May 2014.
