    Tue 19 Mar 2013
On Friday 15th March, our Annual Irish Folk Dancing Festival was held alongside our St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. The adjudicator was Miss Carolyn McGinnell who was making her second appearance at the event. She is a past pupil of Ballyoran PS and agreed that ‘Everyone enjoys their dancing…’ The event was encouragingly supported by friends and family of the school and guest performers included Ms McCreesh-West, the school recorder group and Keelin Brennin from Year 6 who performed a set dance called, ‘The Blue-eyed Rascal’. Everyone who took part in the Festival received a medal and the major prize-winners included Niamh Garland, Catarina Sa and Hollie O’Neill. A huge thanks to all who helped make the day a success.
