Cycle Against Suicide
Tue 26 Apr 2016The ‘Cycle Against Suicide’ event passed through Portadown on Tuesday 26 April and the cyclists stopped off for their lunch at Drumcree College on the northern leg of their route. Year 5 – 7 pupils from Ballyoran along with pupils from other local primary schools lined the streets to cheer the cyclists on. The message being promoted by this cycle is that ‘it’s okay not to feel okay’ – a very important message for children of all ages.

Instrumental Group Claim 1st Prize at Portadown Music Festival
Wed 20 Apr 2016Ballyoran Primary School string ensemble competed in the String Ensemble 14 years and under class at Portadown Music Festival on Wednesday 20th April. There were four schools in the Class: Moyallan Primary School, St. Anthony's Primary School, Drumadonnell Primary School and Ballyoran Primary School. Ballyoran Primary School won 1st Prize attaining the St. Mary's High School, Lurgan Millennium Cup.
