A big well done to the pupils who received Certificates for Improvement in Reading from Mrs Barkley. Keep up the good work. 

You will recall that the school raised an amazing £5000 for Charity from our Colour Run and Big Rainbow Picnic back in May of this year. The money raised was split between two very worthwhile charities : The Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children and Action Mental Health. Respresentatives from both of these organisations came into assembly on Friday to receive the cheques for £2500 each and they told the pupils a little bit about what the money would be used for. A big well done and thank you again to all of our pupils and parents for raising this money which will now be used to help others. 

Our new Digitals Leaders for 2023 - 2024 received their badges from Mrs McConville in assembly on Friday. 

Congratulations to our new Eco Committe who have recently been elected. They had their badges presented by Miss Baird in assembly on Friday. 

Well done to our new Pupil Council who have been elected by their peers to serve as Class Respresentatives on the Pupil Council for this year. These Yr 4-7 pupils received their badges in assembly on Friday and we wish them well in their new role. 

A reminder that we encourage pupils to bring awards to Friday assembly that they received outside school. Well done to the first pupil of the year to bring their award in. 

We are delighted to announce that all of our Year 7 pupils applied to become Playground Friends this year and all have been successfully appointed to this important role. They got their badges presented to them in assembly this week. 

Congratulations to our newly elected House Captains and Vice Captains who received their badges in assembly this week.
