  • P5 Meet 'Belfast Giant'

    Ballyoran Primary School was visited by Craig Peacock of the Belfast Giants today as part of the Giants' and Tesco 'Get Fit' Programme.

    Tesco believe that every child should have the opportunity to participate in all kinds of fun activities and try many different sports.  As part of their ongoing commitment to help get the children of Northern Ireland active, TESCO have sponsored the 'Get Fit' Programme with the Aer Lingus Belfast Giants.

    The Belfast Giants are Northern Ireland's only professional Ice Hockey Team, based in Belfast, the Giants play in the Elite Ice Hockey League.  Since 2000, the Giants have entertained over one million spectators at the Odyssey Arena.
