Mrs Carson Retires
Mon 29 Jun 2015Mrs Carson will retire at the end of June, after 27 years’ teaching service at Ballyoran Primary School. Twenty-five of these years have been spent in the Nursery where
Mrs Carson is well known for her kind and motherly nature. Her time at Ballyoran has been characterised by hard work, dedication and commitment to the pupils as well as her wonderful sense of humour. On behalf of the entire school community I would like to thank Mrs Carson for all that she has given to Ballyoran Primary School, in particular the Nursery, over these past 25 years. We wish her a long, happy and relaxing retirement.

Prize Day 2015
Fri 12 Jun 2015Friday 12th June 2015 was our Annual Prize Day; which is now a very important event on our school calendar. The Foundation Stage/Key Stage 1 ceremony was first at 9.30amand after refreshments, came the Key Stage 2 ceremony. Our Special Guest at both ceremonies was Mrs Carson who is retiring as a Nursery Teacher after 27 years at Ballyoran. Every pupil in the school received an award and all are to be congratulated on their successes and achievements. A list of the main Award Winners can be accessed underneath.

Sports Awards Assembly
Fri 05 Jun 2015On Friday 5th June an assembly was held to award medals and certificates to the children who took part in Sports Day. Medals were given to those who made a place of 1st, 2nd or 3rd, (which was a close call on many occasions), and certificates were given to all children who took part at the races on the day. It is great to see so many taking part on the day. Well done again to those who took part and won a medal or medals.
