  • Healthy Living Day

    As our current Eco topic is Healthy Living, the Eco Club organised a ‘Healthy Living Day’

    for the children on 28th February 2013. A coach from the IFA came to do activities with the

    children throughout the day on eating a balanced diet and living a healthy lifestyle.

    Children also took part in various activities in their classroom and the day finished with a

    Gaelic tournament for Years 3 - 7 in the afternoon led by Paul Carville.

  • Rosalind Honoured at Special Assembly

    Special Winter Olympic Gold medalist and former pupil Miss Rosalind Connolly was guest of honour at a special assembly on Friday 15th February 2013.  Rosalind and her mum showed pupils photos from the Olympics and gave pupils a taste of her Olympic experience.

    Congratulations to former pupil Rosalind Connolly, representing Team Ireland, on winning a gold medal in Alpine Sking at the Special Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea.

    Well done to the 4 pupils from Years 6 and 7 who came 4th at the Annual Credit Union Quiz in the Drumcree Pastoral Centre on Friday 1st February 2013.
