Pupils in Key Stage 2 have elected House Captains and Vice Captains for this year to head up our three Houses – Bann, Lagan and Foyle. Well done to the six pupils from Year 6 and 7 who were elected.
Ballyoran Primary School said farewell to Mrs Judith Huddleson on Friday 12th September 2014. Mrs Huddleson has been a Classroom Assistant at the school for this past 15 years. Mrs Huddleson was presented with a bouquet of flowers from the pupils of the school during Friday Assembly. We thank Mrs Huddleson for her commitment and dedication to Ballyoran over the years and wish her well in her new post.
Ballyoran Primary School celebrated its 40th Birthday on Wednesday 3rd September 2014 with a special Thanksgiving Assembly. This is the actual date that the school was officially opened 40 years ago – 3rd September 1974. Rev Father O’Dwyer led the assembly with special thoughts and prayers of thanksgiving. This assembly marks the end of our programme of celebrations which reached their climax during the month of June this year.
